Terms

Clear rules for a
trusted marketplace.

These terms outline the general conditions intended to govern use of GrabCab services as the platform progresses toward wider availability.

Last updated: September 2026

These are general platform terms for the GrabCab public website and developing mobility services. Specific products, markets or commercial relationships may require additional or updated terms before public launch.

1. Using GrabCab

GrabCab provides technology and marketplace services that may connect riders, drivers, businesses, fleets and other mobility participants. Available services, eligibility and operating conditions may differ by market and product.

2. Accounts and eligibility

Users are responsible for providing accurate information, maintaining account security and using GrabCab only where they meet applicable eligibility requirements. Certain roles, including drivers and commercial participants, may require additional verification or approval.

3. Ride requests and marketplace availability

A ride request does not guarantee that a driver will be available or assigned. Availability may depend on service area, driver supply, vehicle category, safety controls, system conditions and other marketplace factors.

4. Fares, fees and payments

Where available, GrabCab may provide fare estimates, final fares, booking fees, waiting charges, cancellation charges, promotions or other pricing components. Payment methods and financial rules may vary by service and market.

5. Driver and vehicle requirements

Drivers and vehicles may be subject to eligibility, documentation, safety, inspection, insurance, licensing or other requirements before participating in the GrabCab marketplace.

6. Safety and acceptable use

Users must not use GrabCab for unlawful, abusive, fraudulent, dangerous or harmful activity. Safety tools are intended to support users but do not eliminate all risk associated with transportation or third-party conduct.

7. Scheduled rides

Scheduled ride features are intended to help plan future journeys. Availability, driver assignment timing and cancellation rules may differ from immediate ride requests and may be subject to service-specific conditions.

8. Business, fleet and partner services

Commercial, fleet, tourism and partner services may be governed by additional agreements, onboarding requirements, pricing rules, account controls or operating terms.

9. Platform changes and availability

GrabCab may update, modify, suspend or discontinue features as the platform evolves, subject to applicable obligations and any contractual commitments made for specific services.

10. Support, disputes and enforcement

GrabCab may review account activity, support cases, safety concerns, payment issues and suspected misuse. Account actions may be taken where reasonably necessary to protect users, the marketplace or platform integrity.

Privacy

Use of GrabCab may involve the collection and processing of information as described in the GrabCab Privacy page and any service-specific privacy notices.

Applicable market requirements

GrabCab intends to operate according to the requirements that apply in each market where services are offered. Terms may be updated to reflect local regulatory, payment, transportation or consumer requirements.

Terms may evolve before launch.

GrabCab will update these terms as specific products, commercial services and market requirements are finalized.
